March : the recovery
After two weeks of recovery following the Tarawera, I’m getting back into training.
The return to training is going smoothly. Even so, the first few sessions – although low-intensity – are harder than I thought.
The strength training sessions have left me with aching muscles throughout March. This surprises me all the more as I’m not usually prone to muscle soreness. And on top of that, apart from this recovery phase, I’ve been training almost every day for five months now.
Well, never mind, it’s true that I’ve upped it to eight sessions a week, which actually makes quite a difference. And I suppose I’m building muscle, which is a good thing.

With the help of a lovely setting, I’m keeping up with my training. By the end of the month, I’m feeling a bit lighter, my rhythm is back, and I’m feeling good again.
